Refunds & Returns Policy

At Foamello, we want you to love your purchase. This Returns & Refunds Policy operates in addition to your rights under the Australian Consumer Law (ACL). Nothing in this policy excludes, restricts or modifies any rights you may have under the ACL.

Australian Consumer Law

Our products come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law.

You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if they fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.

100 Night Guarantee

We're confident you'll love your Foamello bed, which is why every Foamello bed comes with our 100 Night Guarantee.

How it Works

We encourage customers to sleep on and use their Foamello bed for a full 100 nights before deciding whether it's right for them.

If, after 100 nights from the date of delivery, you are not completely satisfied with your Foamello bed, you may request a return and receive a full refund of the purchase price.

To be eligible for the 100 Night Guarantee:

  • The bed must have been used for a minimum of 100 nights from the delivery date.

  • Return requests must be lodged between 100 and 120 nights from the delivery date.

  • Proof of purchase must be provided.

  • The bed must be in reasonable condition, free from misuse, abuse, intentional damage, mould, excessive staining, pet damage or unsanitary conditions.

  • The guarantee applies only to Foamello beds and does not apply to spare covers, accessories, bedding, clearance items, promotional products or gift cards.

Once your return request has been approved, Foamello will arrange collection of the bed at no cost to you.

Following collection and inspection of the product, Foamello will issue a full refund to the original payment method.

Why We Ask You to Wait 100 Nights

A new sleep surface can take time to adjust to. For this reason, returns under the 100 Night Guarantee can only be requested after the initial 100-night period has passed.

Not a Replacement for Your Consumer Rights

The Foamello 100 Night Guarantee is provided in addition to your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.

Nothing in this guarantee excludes, restricts or modifies any rights or remedies you may have under the Australian Consumer Law.

Change of Mind Returns

As Foamello beds are covered by our 100 Night Guarantee, change-of-mind returns for Foamello beds are not available before the completion of the 100-night trial period unless required under Australian Consumer Law.

For spare covers, accessories and other products, change-of-mind returns may be accepted at Foamello's discretion where:

  • The return request is made within 30 days of delivery.

  • The item is unused, unwashed and in its original packaging.

  • Proof of purchase is provided.

For approved change-of-mind returns:

  • Customers are responsible for return shipping costs.

  • Original shipping charges are non-refundable.

  • Refunds will be processed once the returned item has been received and inspected.

Faulty, Damaged or Incorrect Products

If your product:

  • Arrives damaged;

  • Is faulty or defective;

  • Is significantly different from its description; or

  • Does not perform as reasonably expected,

please contact us as soon as possible with:

  • Your order number;

  • A description of the issue; and

  • Photos or videos where applicable.

We may request additional information to assess the issue.

Where a product fails to meet a consumer guarantee under the Australian Consumer Law, we will provide an appropriate remedy, which may include repair, replacement or refund depending on the nature of the issue.

Major Failures

If a product has a major failure under the Australian Consumer Law, you may choose between:

  • A refund; or

  • A replacement product.

A major failure may include situations where the product:

  • Is unsafe;

  • Is substantially unfit for its normal purpose;

  • Is significantly different from its description; or

  • Would not have been purchased had the issue been known beforehand.

Minor Failures

For minor faults that can be remedied within a reasonable time, Foamello may elect to:

  • Repair the product;

  • Replace the product; or

  • Provide a refund,

as permitted under the Australian Consumer Law.

Return Shipping Costs

Where a product is faulty, defective or does not comply with a consumer guarantee, Foamello will cover reasonable return shipping costs or arrange collection where appropriate.

For approved change-of-mind returns, customers are responsible for return shipping costs.

For approved claims under the 100 Night Guarantee, Foamello will arrange collection at no cost to the customer.

Non-Returnable Items

The following items cannot be returned for change of mind:

  • Custom-made or personalised products;

  • Gift cards;

  • Clearance or final-sale products;

  • Products damaged through misuse, neglect or abnormal use;

  • Products altered after delivery;

  • Products not returned in a hygienic condition.

These exclusions do not apply where your rights under the Australian Consumer Law apply.

Refund Processing

Approved refunds are generally processed within 5-10 business days after the returned product has been received and inspected.

Refunds will be issued to the original payment method used for the purchase.

Processing times may vary depending on your financial institution.
